Fractions and Decimals 5.2

Writing a Fraction as a decimal Divide the numerator by the denominator

Terminating Decimal When the division ends with a remainder of 0

Write Each Fraction as a Decimal

Repeating Decimal When the same block of digits in a decimal repeats without end. Place bar over repeating decimal to indicate the pattern

Write as a decimal

Ordering form Least to Greatest Turn all fractions into decimals

Order from Least to Greatest

Writing a Decimal as a Fraction 1 decimal place = put number over 10 2 decimal places = put number over 100 3 decimal places = put number over 1000 4 decimal places= put number over 10,000 and REDUCE!!!
