1 Welcome to Sixth Grade Camp Information Night
-Welcome and thank you to all parents who are in attendance -6th Grade Camp is a memorable experience. Although it may be difficult for you as the parent to wave goodbye to your child for 3 days, they will have the time of their life exploring and learning in the outdoor environment. They will also have the opportunity to make new friends and strengthen the relationships that already exist. The teachers are always excited to go to camp because it allows them to interact with your children in a different setting. -The majority of the 6th grade staff has experience with 6th grade camp. Those teachers who are new to DCIS or to the 6th grade are attending camp with teachers who have had the experience. -Camp would not be as successful without the enthusiasm of the teachers -Teachers can answer questions at end of presentation.
