2. The silver birch is a deciduous tree. Its branches droop towards the ground. The flowers of the silver birch grow in the spring. Its small seeds are a favourite food for birds. 3. It is easy to know that if it is an oak tree or not by the leaf. The oak trees seed is an acorn. Trees help us to breath and they help the earth. A tree is covered in a skin of bark. If you chop down a tree you can count the rings on it to find out what age it is. The oak tree looks like this.

4. The ash tree is a very easy tree to spot it looks like this. The common ash is Ireland’s most common, t allest tree. It is a deciduous tree and after it has been cut down, it is able to sprout up and start growing again. The seed of the ash tree is fraxinus it looks like this. The leaf looks like this.

5. The sycamore tree grows very fast, and its branches spread out to give it a beautiful large, rounded shape. It is a related tree to the central and southern Europe.
