Carbon capturing Distillation Carbon Substance Chemical Properties Matter Element Physical Properties Pure form of matter The way the brain begins to understands things is by making connections. It is hard to recall any information that is not connected to another piece of information. A good tool to use to strengthen connections between pieces of information and to see the “big picture” is to concept map. As a group, rearrange the text boxes above and connect them with a arrow shape where ever there is a connection. Be organized and concise. Add in a text to explain the arrows or connections that you make. When you are done, see if you can add in any information like examples or pictures to the concept map. When it is 100% complete and beautiful, save it and upload it to the classes Google Drive. Chemical Compound Mixture Water H20 Heterogeneous Mixture Homogeneous Mixture

10 Homework 1) Upload your pictures of a unique heterogenous mixture and a homogeneous picture (must be your own! don't just copy paste from the internet) to the class google drive or them to me. 2) Complete the class three week reflection in your IPCs. If you did it on computer thats fantastic, just print them out and staple it onto a page in your IPCs. The directions for the reflection are on the course website 3) Organize your IPCs and re-turn them into me on Thursday. They need to be clearly labeled and have a table of contents with numbered pages for the following: Warm up #1 analyzing the graphs Notes: What is Matter Chem career project reflection Notes: Experimental design notes Experimental design and discussion for bubble lab Chapter 2.1 and Chapter 2.2 Questions Stations: Heterogeneous and Homogeneous Mixtures Three week reflection
