2 The Challenge: Preparing Tomorrow’s Teachers to Use Technology  Two million well-prepared, technology proficient teachers are needed in less than a decade.  Future teachers must know how to use the power of new technologies to improve the teaching and learning process.

4 Objectives  Prepare technology-proficient facilitation teams from six southeastern states to model technology integration in their teaching practice.  Facilitate the articulation between College of Arts and Science faculty, School of Education faculty and school districts.  Provide ongoing dissemination support.
