3 Keep Psychiatry in Mind Background: Integrating training across major domains and fields of medicine is important. Principles of behavioral health and psychiatry are especially applicable across disciplines. Collaboration: Medical educators from Rush and University of Iowa Intervention: Integrate psychiatric concepts into the general M-3 curriculum with monthly emails targeted to each rotation..

4 Keep Psychiatry in Mind Email Content: Identification of and screening for psychiatric issues frequently encountered on each clerkship. Email Format:  Consistent bulleted presentation of key points  Formatted to handheld devices  Followed by a multiple choice question  Linked to the correct response and a reference.

13 What have I learned? 1)Ask anyone and everyone for help or input. 2)You can have more than one mentor. 3)You don’t have to be perfect. 4)No matter how good you think something is, someone else can improve it. 5)Make connections 6)Get feedback from people in other fields and specialties, peers and CRLT 7)The grant supports a languishing project.
