8  Papua New Guinea  is participating in trials of the XO laptop, distributed by the OLPC Foundation and implemented by the Secretariat for the Pacific Community.  Ethiopia  Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi confirmed (Nov. 2007) his commitment of giving 50,000 laptops to Ethiopia. The importance of the funding is its exemplary nature - it is model for other European countries and the EU itself to follow.

19  Should be more practices, but I’m not able to read them all……  Many OSS supporters are highly engaged in OLPC projects  Instructional practices need to be shared.  There is still a gap between what IT people recommended(like sensors) on instruction and what teachers really do, just like the story when computers walk into classroom.
