ONLINE ORDERING Advantages: Your school’s Net-Discounted price is displayed (You can budget more accurately. Accounts payable has fewer adjustments to make with PO-Invoice mismatches.) Online orders are more accurate (Order errors such as discontinued items, incorrect item numbers, incorrect pricing, additional shipping charges, etc. are found at the point of entry rather than at the point of order receipt. This will lead to fewer returns, credits, and other errors. Online cart approval (all carts must go through the properly established approval flow in order to become an order) All orders are able to be tracked easily (online down to the signature of receipt. Order confirmation and shipping confirmation emails are communicated to the user. )

ONLINE INTEGRATION Advantages: The school’s accounting software stays in control of the entire purchase. Just like any other PO All orders are in line-item detail in the school’s accounting software. Pricing match between PO and invoice. (will match the amount of the invoice. This leads better budgeting and fewer adjustments for Accounts Payable) Creating the orders online is much faster than manual key. (online ordering system is much faster than keying things manually into the accounting software. You key the item and the quantity only. The website populates the item and price. )

KEYWORD SEARCH Enter two or three words to describe your desired product and click the Search icon. Click “Quickview” to see product summary Click the calculator icon to see your discount price Click the item name for full product details Click filter options to refine your search to more specific items

Hover over the “Shop Our Products” tab to see all of our item categories Hover over the category to see the sub-categories in each section Choose a sub-category to view the products SHOP OUR PRODUCTS

Choose “Order By Item Number” to enter your item numbers and quantities Click “Add to Cart” to add the items to your cart ORDER BY ITEM NUMBER

Your Shopping Cart will show your items, your net-discount prices, and your Shipping and Handling charges. You have the option to edit your cart, save your cart, or “Proceed to Checkout” SHOPPING CART & CHECKOUT

The final “Review” page displays your, shipping, billing, and item information and prices. Click “Submit” to place your order or send to your approver SHOPPING CART SUBMIT

Your Business Plus requisition will follow the Business Plus process of converting the requisition into a purchase order. Once the purchase order is approved, it will be sent electronically to School Specialty BUSINESS PLUS APPROVAL INTO PURCHASE ORDER
