9 FWO Travel Grant (long stay abroad) Travel grants for long stays abroad Eligibility criteria max. 1 grant per person per year application at least 3 months in advance specific conditions for young researchers (e.g. min. 1 publication) Selection criteria Intrinsic need for the proposed visit in relation to the research Position of the researcher in his research field Preference for young researchers and FWO fellows. 11 Marie Curie Fellowships Intra-European fellowships (IEF): mobility within Europe International Outgoing fellowships (IOF): mobility from Europe to a country outside of Europe International Incoming fellowships (IIF): mobility from a country outside of Europe to Europe Career Integration grants (CIG): for establishing at an institution after a mobility period Eligibility criteria PhD or min. 4 years of research experience Stronger track records, on average at least 1 year postdoc Comply with mobility rule (your host institution should located in a country where you have not worked more than 12 months in the last 3 years) Selection criteria Scientific & Technical Quality – Training – Implementation – Impact Candidate Duration: min. 12 months, max. 36 months depending on fellowship Budget: living + mobility + travel + career allowance Mobility: mandatory Preparation (effort) On average 4 weeks needed (but start earlier !)
