2. Camp C-Woo is a recreational and educational program offered by Central Washington University's Recreation Program for children ages 7-11. The camp's primary function is ACTIVITY and FUN!

3.  Playing games in the Recreation Center  Doing fun physical activities daily to improve balance, strength, endurance, speed, agility and flexibility  Climbing on the indoor wall in the Recreation Center  Creating Arts & Crafts  Learning about character education and improving positive social skills  Participating in academic-related activities with education majors  Improving swimming skills thru swim lessons at CWU pool  Learning about nutrition and preparing snacks

4.  Camp operates during the summer for 10-12 weeks  The average attendance per week was 21.8 kids over the ten weeks camp operated  Camp attendance has been unpredictable over the past 4 years soaring to over 50 per day at one point  The drop in attendance and the introduction of the administrative fee caused us to restructure the program

5.  Creating jobs for students on campus (over $30,000 were paid out last summer in student wages)  Generate revenue for other programs by renting the Student Village Multipurpose Room, paying for life guards and swim instructors at the CWU Pool, renting the Climbing Wall

6.  We work with other academic departments for them to create and execute lesson plans for our campers  CWU students are offered a reduced rate  Students are provided with training and work experience to prepare for careers working with children
