2. In God We Trust These words are printed or inscribed on all coins and legal tender of the United States of America. According to the U.S. Code, “In God we trust” is the “National Motto.”

3. Jesus warned us not to trust in money! “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.” -- Matthew 6:24 (NIV)

4. The apostle Paul wrote, “Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.” (1 Timothy 6:17)

5. It is somewhat ironic that the motto on our money reminds us not to trust in it, but in God! “IN GOD WE TRUST” needs to be indelibly printed on the minds and hearts of every Christian.

6. God’s children should trust in Him at all times “Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us.” -- Psalm 62:8

7. God’s children should trust in Him in all their ways “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” -- Prov. 3:5-6

8. You Can Trust God with Your Future! “Commit your way to the LORD, Trust also in Him, And He shall bring it to pass.”-- Psalm 37:5

9. You Can Trust God with Your Soul! “The LORD redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.” – Ps. 34:22
