9. What can you do? ‘Growth and Growing’ topic Look at baby photographs with your child and talk about how they have changed. What can they do now that they could not when they were a baby? Look at different plants and flowers when you are out and about. Talk about how they grow and how you can help to look after them. Allow children to help with gardening and also with recycling.

10. Spring 2 (to Summer holiday) ‘Transport’ and ‘People who help us’ topic Looking at different types of transport Comparing transport ‘now’ and ‘then’ Talking about journeys that we have been on RE – The Good Samaritan TRANSITION PROJECT – People who help us stay safe/People who help us at home Continued in Reception – People who help us at school
