Pricking out Lessens the competition for light, food, water and room. Also the plants are made stronger because they have more of the necessary requirements.

3 Hedge planting When planting a hedge you put in a spade a spit deep and make a gap. In the gap you put in the hedge plant. Around the plant you place a plastic case and you attach it to a wooden pole which is sunk in the ground next to the hedge plant.

6 Cleaning out the chickens When you clean out chickens firstly You shut them indoors so you can clean the outside part Of their pen. You get a spade to get out as much of the waste as Possible. Then with a hose and big weeping brush you hose down The outside of the pen and sweep out the rest of the waste. You do this Until no more muck can be taken out of the pen. If you leave Chickens in a mucky pen they will get wet feet and could Lead to them having foot rot.

7 Sowing seeds 1.Get a tray and fill it with compost. 2.Level the compost. 3.With a pencil, put holes in the compost with equal spacing. 4. Put a seed in each hole. 5. Sprinkle with compost and firm down. 6. Then water the tray to finish.
