4 KANSAS The official Web site for TruckingKS.org A trucking portal was developed as a project within the CVISN Program at www.truckingKS.org which provides motor carriers access to conduct business electronically with the state of Kansas.

To provide motor carriers a “one-stop-shop” to conduct business electronically with the state of Kansas. To cut costs for both Government and Businesses. 45 KANSAS The official Web site for TruckingKS.org KCC Applications Renewals, Adds, Transfer, Deletes Through the trucking portal motor carriers can renew and modify single state and intrastate authorities online. Users can add, delete and transfer vehicles; add states; change contact information; and pay renewal fees for these authorities using either a credit card or an electronic funds transfer. During the first year 682 of the approximately 10,000 carriers with authority in Kansas renewed online. As of December 2003, 29% (2,936) of the carriers that renewed single state and intrastate authorities for the 2003 renewal period renewed online.
