Greasers and Socs were different from each other, and this difference caused many fights. How would you feel if you were a Greaser? How would you feel if you were a Soc?

Johnny wanted to see his friends in the hospital. Who would you want to see.
The rumble is that night! Would you be part of it after all that had happened? Why or why not?

Use time wisely by beginning work on Ch. 7-8 response sheets in student packet once finished with the quiz (those finished may begin work on vocabulary sheets)
Solve puzzle in order to find group
Discuss chapters 7-9 within groups to understand how peers evaluated what they read

Ponyboy was passed out and delirious for several days. What’s the sickest you’ve ever been?
Ponyboy didn’t want to remember what had happened to his friends. Have you ever wanted to forget something so badly?
Ponyboy was worried about his schoolwork and sports. If you missed so many days of school, what would you be worried about?

Ponyboy could not believe it when Randy said he never should’ve gotten mixed up in the whole situation. He thought he had it bad? Ponyboy had way more problems than Randy did! Have you ever been told by someone that they knew how something was when really they could never understand what you are going through?
Ponyboy tried convincing Randy that he had killed Bob, not Johnny. Would you testify on behalf of your friend, just to save their honor?
