Key Terms Electronic employment application: A prescriptive electronic portal wherein you must only apply by completing specific fields within a online application and uploading your resume to a prospective future special events employer. Fair trade: Fair pay, investing in projects that enhance workers ’ quality of life, partnership, mutually beneficial long-term relationships and social, economic and environmental responsibility Greener events: Special events that continually endeavor to provide superior experiences through environmentally friendly strategies. Key employment application terms: The use of key terms such as marketing, sales, sponsorship, production, design and others that will be scanned and analyzed by a prospective special events employer through your online employment application. Outgreening: The use of greener event strategies to promote competitiveness and increase profits. Sustainability: The ability to wisely use the resources of today to create ever stronger and more successful tomorrows. Sustainable development: The ability to only use the resources you need today to insure that you have sufficient resources for use in the future.
