Carrying out initiatives, events, exhibitions and competitions 2,650 young artists with 3,100 works 1,926 comic projects on line 433 pieces of music 1,610 audiovisual operators enrolled 5 competitions for cartoonists and 1 competition for videomakers 521 young artists + 57 troupes of young videomakers

Co-planning of the video competition Take Action together with Associazione Italiana contro le Leucemie (Italian Association against Leukemias) 294 episodes 1,303 on-line videos 27 episodes Creation of a web-radio that is linked to local districts, run by young people for young people The winners made a professional and remunerated commercial for the production company ITC Movies

Progetto Giovani – Municipality of Bologna e-mail doriana.bortolini@comune.bologna.it www.flashgiovani.it Learning by doing Action 4: Transition school/ work Creation of a concrete opportunity of transition from school to work, activating scholarships through agreements with the University for post-graduate internships Assigning young recent graduates to the staff of municipal employees, as a way to stimulate the innovation of the promotion processes of services aimed at young people Involving young people in socially useful projects, translating their knowledge into services that are useful to the community, highlighting the role of training at school and at the university. 20 scholarships for recent graduates 200: total number of young volunteers and trainees, 30 of which come from European countries that carry out the editing of the Network «Giovani on line» (Young people on line)

Activation of partnerships with other Italian towns which promote the same service 5,104 cards «CartaGiovani» distributed in one year 971 services and shops that joined the initiative

The initiative is aimed at young people aged between 15 and18, who join different voluntary associations for a period of 15-30 days from June to September on average 80 young volunteers each year
