4. We Did …. 27 th July 2012 we inaugurated our association activities and conducted two days work shop on Creating Android Applications – for the final year and pre final year students.

5. We Did Released a technical journal “ PRAKALPA- 12 “ compilation of all the projects done by 2008 batch students on 8 th of August. Conducted a community program –” Computer Saksharatha ” by our final year students at Govt. LP School Puliparakunnu, under the supervision of the dedicated faculties. On 20 th Sept.2012 conducted a Seminar on Microsoft-Share point, ASP.net, and silver light by Logic Software, Ernakulum.

6. We are Doing … –Department is conducting GATE coaching to the aspirants. –Totally 25 students are enrolled in the program. –Downloading of E-journal papers, and keeping it as a knowledge repository for the reference of staff and students. –Implementation of New Campus Software.

10. UNIVERSITY RESULT - 1&2 SEM CS BATCH(2011 BATCH) - SUBJECT WISE PASS % Overall Pass Percentage = 36

11. Student Achievements Ashith Ragunath, George Ignatioous,Athul Ansakumar of IIIrd Semster CSE, won Ist prize in State level Aspiartion - 2020 competition conducted by INFOSYS on 20.09.2012.

12. Won Ist ( cash prize of Rs. 5000/-)and IInd ( Cash prize of Rs.3000/-) prizes respectively in Concept presentation competition conducted by Naipunaya College on 20.09.2012. – Hridya Anto & Silpa Sivaram,Chandni Menon & Meera Thomas of Vth Sem CSE Stephin Moyalan of IIIrd Semester selected for National level finals for the contest IBM-Master the Mainframe. And many students attended in various programs in various colleges and organizations.

13. Staff Achievements – Mr. Vince Paul presented a paper in International Conference at FISAT – High performance Computing on July 2012. –Mr. Vince Paul published a paper in an international journal – (International Journal on Computer Application with impact factor 1.88 ) – Mr. Sankaranarayanan successfully completed online course on power searching conducted by Google. – Paper of Mr. Vince Paul selected for an International conference in Engineering and Applied Science at Colombo, Sri Lanka for December 27 – 29, 2012 session.

14. Collaborative Activities The Dpt. Of CSE, signed MOU with ‘Kerala State Rutronix Cloud Computing project’ to impart training in “ Microsoft Cloud Computing” So as to achieve a status of Center for Excellence in Cloud Computing. Many External online exams( IBPS, ESI etc) conducted from June 2012 and many other Exams are scheduled in the month of Dec 2012 and Jan 2013. GATE online exam also scheduled in the month of 20 th Jan. 2013. Department is generating income out of it from the above mentioned activities.

15. INDUSTRIAL VISITS The 3 rd semester students of Computer Science department visited Infosys, Trivandrum during the month of Sept. 2012. Next two batches are planning their Industrial Visits in the month of Dec. 2012.

16. Key Projects done in the Department Robotic Object Tracking system. Emotion based Music Player. Automatic automobile clutch system. Social Networking application – GLOBAL FENCER. E-Voting System Automatic accident detection and reporting system. Image tampering detection system An Embedded Intensive Care Unit automation.

17. Future Plans of the Department Faculty Pre workshop(Intra department) on relevant network and software. Goal oriented teaching & Project Oriented training for students.. Gate Coaching.

18. New Facilities A new 40 seater Computer Lab equipped with conferencing facility has been started in Bio-Block from July 2012.

19. Conclusion We whole heartedly express our thanks to the Sahrdaya Family and all those designates for helping CSE throughout the year. Cooperation and commitment of all the members including Loving and enthusiastic Faculty members and our studious students is our strength.
