6 Review - MRP Firm Orders MRP Firm Orders are orders created in the ERP that get published in Ultriva - the order gets released to the supplier. ⁻MRP creating orders automatically ⁻Buyers placing orders in MRP 6

7 Review - MRP Firm Orders Advantages – Buyers use the ERP as the workbench and the firm orders are sent to Ultriva – Supplier doesn’t have to use another system for MRP items. Supplier and Buyer can see all parts and orders in one system – Standardized labels and receiving process, material handling process 7

8 Review – MRP Forecast Gross Requirements The MRP Gross Requirements – this is the forecast or un- netted demand created by MRP after MRP explosion 8

9 Review MRP Forecast Gross Requirements Advantages – Supplier has visibility to the forecast for planning their raw materials – Easier to share the forecast with the supplier than using spreadsheets, email, etc. – Suppliers are looking at the same data – the same version – If multi-sourced, suppliers will see their % as defined in Admin  Item  Supplier Allocation Percentage – Gross Requirements can be sent for all 3 part types: Forecast, Kanban, or Virtual 9

12 MRP Forecast - Planned Orders Ultriva is used as a workbench to place the orders. The buyer must review and place desired orders in Ultriva. 12 Next 7 days (after that) = 1/29/2015 through 2/4/2015 Past + 7 = Today (1/22/2015) through 1/28/2015 Future = 2/5/2014 and after

15 MRP Forecast - Planned Orders Advantages – Buyers use Ultriva as a workbench to determine which orders to release to the supplier – Easier than going through printed papers and manually entering orders in the ERP – Suppliers and Buyers can see all orders in one system – If using PO Release integration from Ultriva  ERP, when the order gets released in Ultriva it will automatically sent to the ERP 15

16 MRP Forecast – Planned Orders Continued MRP Planned Orders Criteria – Parts have to be forecast – Sent to Ultriva via Integration Data Load – Plant Admin can upload text file – Batch Job Status for verifying – Integration  Batch Job Status  Forecast (Same file as the MRP Recommendations and $Gross Requirements) – When a new MRP Forecast file is sent, the information sent in the last file expires/is no longer valid. 16

24 MRP Forecast - Recommendations MRP Recommendations are sent to Ultriva for Expediting, Deferring, or Cancelling of the Forecast parts that have an order released to the supplier. 24

25 MRP Forecast - Recommendations Advantages – Buyer reviews and determines whether to take action on the reschedule or cancellation of these existing orders – Easy to review and make changes – If the plant has the integration points for PO Change or PO Cancel from Ultriva  ERP, once approved, the information will automatically be sent to the ERP. 25

26 MRP Forecast - Recommendations Continued MRP Forecast Recommendations Criteria – Parts have to be forecast – Sent to Ultriva via Integration Data Load – Plant Admin can upload text file – Batch Job Status for verifying – Integration  Batch Job Status  Forecast (Same file as the MRP Planned Orders and $Gross Requirements) 26

27 MRP Forecast File File is used for these 3 functions: – Forecast Gross Requirements (covered in Session 1) Forecast or un-netted demand for all parts – Forecast Planned Orders MRP suggested orders for buyer to place orders in Ultriva – Forecast MRP Recommendations Exception handling – defer, expedite or cancel orders for released firm orders for forecast parts Each time a Forecast file is processed, the last batch/file gets expired and is no longer valid – Whichever functions are used, all must be sent in the same file 27

30 January Webinar Planned Orders – Using Ultriva as a workbench and determine whether or not to release orders to the supplier MRP Recommendations – ERP is sending Expedite, Defer or Cancel for orders placed via Planned Orders or Firm Orders 30

31 SBR – MRP Planned Orders Planned Orders are MRP suggested orders for buyers to review and place the orders in Ultriva. – Buyers use Ultriva as a work bench – Order has to be released in Ultriva by the buyer – Easier to use Ultriva than going through printed papers and manually entering orders in the ERP – No more green bar reports (if you are using them. ) – Supplier and Buyer can see all parts and orders in one system – Parts have to be forecast category in Ultriva – Sent to Ultriva via integration or data load – Batch Job Status for verifying - Forecast – Plant Admin can upload text file - Forecast Load (Admin  Tools  Data Load) – Exception code would be Created for Create orders in Admin  Entities  Exception Code – If PO Release integration is used from Ultriva  ERP the order will be sent to the ERP after the buyer releases the order in Ultriva – An unreleased Planned Order remains until the next file comes through 31

32 SBR – MRP Recommendations The MRP Recommendations are sent to Ultriva for Expediting, Deferring or Cancelling of Orders that have been placed via Planned Orders or Firm Orders – Used when orders need to be rescheduled (expedited or deferred) or cancelled – Buyer reviews and determines whether to take action on the reschedule or cancel – Parts have to be Forecast – Sent to Ultriva via integration or data load – Batch Job Status for verifying - Forecast – Or Plant Admin can upload text file - Forecast Load (Admin  Tools  Data Load) – ExceptionCodes sent for Defer, Expedite, or Cancel Order are be defined in Ultriva under Admin  Entities – If the buyer approves the recommendation and you have PO Change or PO Cancel/Recall integration from Ultriva  ERP, this will create an integration record – If no action is taken, the orders remains until the next file comes through 32

33 Gross Requirements, Planned Orders, MRP Recommendations if all are used, have to be sent in the same file because previous batch sent gets deleted/expired. 33
