10. SCREEN PRINT: A stencil method of printmaking in which a design is imposed on a screen and ink is forced through the screen onto the printing surface.

13. STENCIL GRAFFITI: Stencil graffiti makes use of a paper, cardboard, or other media to create an image or text that is easily reproducible. The desired design is cut out of the selected medium and then the image is transferred to a surface through the use of spray paint or roll-on paint.

14. So, I know what stencil graffiti is now…but what is graffiti? Graffiti: drawing or inscription made on a wall or other surface, usually to be seen by the public.

40. What we will be doing: Individually, each student will design and draw a stencil. Upon completion, we will put all the stencils onto a “permission wall” to create our very own stencil graffiti “piece.”
