3 Introduction to the scheme What is it? - this is a new pilot scheme to allow researchers to apply for a grant up to £1,000 per trip to meet prospective partners for European projects. - You can apply for funding to visit partners in up to two member states, or other countries if they are specified in the tender documents of the fund to which they are applying – The EU-27: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom Why are we doing it? - In order to successfully win EU funds for research we need to forge European links and join consortiums. This fund is to encourage this interaction.
