3 162 nd Brigade Task Organization, Mission and METL Mission: The 162d Infantry Brigade trains Advisor Skills, Combat Skills, and Security Force Assistance skills to provide Army and Joint Force Commanders with trained personnel and units to build security capacity in designated countries. 162 nd Mission Essential Task List 1.Conduct Mission Command 2.Train individual Advisors and Security Force Assistance Teams deploying to Afghanistan 3.Train Regionally Aligned Forces for Geographic Combatant Command Areas of Responsibility 4.On order, train and deploy Soldiers and teams from the brigade to conduct Security Force Assistance / Security Cooperation missions in accordance with FORSCOM guidance 5.Sustain the Brigade X 162 OCT 1353 OCT 23533 SFA-BN 4353 OCT 53536 HHC I II 1002 PACOM and EUCOM Afghanistan/ CENTCOM JOINT SFA COURSE Afghanistan 3 I TICO 52 WESTHEM and AFRICOM Afghanistan
