2 2 Principles (I) Purpose Purpose The IAQG Other Party Management Team is a Global, Industry-Controlled, Oversight Committee chartered to manage the Other Party Quality Management Schemes and assessment results performed by the Sector Management Structures (SMS) on the 9100-series standards. 6 6 Americas Report RMC – Registrar Management Committee  RMC 102 rev 5 published in September 2005, AS9014 will be published by Dec 2005 (9104 + data entry in OASIS American specificities)  2006 Oversight Planning completed  Metrics Reviews: For example, certification distribution study: 5 of 38 CRBs perform 50% of AAQG certifications  Changes to RMC Chair and Sub-team leads for 2006.

7 7 Asia-Pacific Report  Publishing of SJAC9104 in October, 2005  JRMC is setting up an Asian/Pacific Standardization Body  JRMC is going to be restructured to prevent Conflict of Interests issues per future surveillance procedure  APAQG agrees in setting up AP-OPMT  ICOP deployment in Asia-Pacific sector: Mature in Japan China: HB9100 already published, 9104 publication and CRMC launch is expected the beginning of 2006 Korea: Progress report is expected at next APAQG meeting

15 15 IAQG OPMT Oversight of AAQG Sector (I)  Assessment was performed by members of the EAQG OPMT and the JRMC (Asia-Pacific) in the afternoon on Oct 4 as the closed meeting.  Assessment was performed using IAQG-OPMT 91xx checklist  Assessment was performed for the following items:  Scheme : AS9104, AIR5359, AIR5493, RMC102  Initial assessment report for SCC (Canada Accreditation Body)  Oversight report for 3 CRBs (Office and Witness Audit )  Auditor Authentication records for 3 AEAs  Meeting Minutes of AAQG-RMC  AAQG-RMC was assessed using AS 9104, AIR5359, AIR5493 as baseline. (Ref) AAQG-RMC is preparing AS9014 which will supersede AIR5359 based on new AS9104.

16 16 IAQG OPMT Oversight of AAQG Sector (II)  Positive: Availability of data (e.g, electronic Auditor Authentication files)  Scheme is conforming to 9104.  Certification procedure is conforming to 9104.  CRB Oversight reports are conforming to 9104.  Auditor Qualification/Authentication is conforming to 9104.  General conclusion : Mature system without any findings during the Oversight
