OP Assessors must be qualified in accordance with AS9104/2…… Knowledge of the ICOP scheme sufficient to be able to effectively assess conformity. –9104-series standards requirements, knowledge of the relevant AQMS and ISO standards, applicable International Accreditation Forum (IAF) documents, and IAQG OPMT resolutions Initially and in each 3 year period – Auditing experience: have conducted at least three AQMS audits (1 st, 2 nd, or 3 rd party) or OP assessments for a minimum of nine assessment days within the last 3 years. – Work experience: 4 years aviation, space, or defense industry experience within the prior 10 calendar years. 5

OP Assessors need to maintain or have access to a standards library…… Quality Management System (QMS) 9100, 9110,9120 Industry Controlled Other Party (ICOP) 9104 series & 9104/2 Check Sheets ISO and IAF ISO 17021, ISO17011 IAF mandatory documents Do not rely on using loaned copies Standards have copyright protection and should be treated as such 6

Be aware of OPMT Resolutions…… Location – OASIS Database Application – ICOP Standard & Sector Affectivity – Date of implementation Review updates upon notification of change Refer to resolutions prior to and during oversight assessments Coordinate with AAQG RMC voting member if issues are unresolved 7

Must have a working knowledge of the OASIS database and it’s functionality…… Be an active user Understand the functionality Supplier search, Certification details, Access to Tier 2 Data & Feedback process Use Help/Guidance Use OASIS to prep for CB office and CB Witness Assessments Use Feedback process when issues arise or clarification is needed. 8

All rights reserved. 14 Tim Lee – Supplier Quality Manager - Kansas City, Missouri Responsibility: Tim co-leads a Boeing Supplier Quality (SQ) Enterprise team that has the responsibility to conduct oversight of the Industry Controlled Other Party (ICOP) AS9100 certification process. In this position Tim is responsible for leading the oversight team and working directly with industry representatives and accredited Certification Bodies (CBs) that conduct quality management system audits in the supply base. Appointed Chairman to the Other Party Management Committee (OPMT) in January 2010. Experience: Tim's career within the Boeing family of companies began in 1987 at Boeing Wichita and he transferred to BCA Everett in 2005. He began in Receiving Inspection and has held several positions including Lead Person, Major Assembly Inspector, Receiving Inspection Manager, Supplier Quality Manager, Supplier Quality Field Representative, Project Leader and FAA Unit Member. He is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
