2 QKS ELL Program PURPOSE The purpose of this presentation is to share information about some of the ways Queen Kaahumanu School is addressing the needs of its English Language Learners. 15 QKS ELL Program CURRICULUM  Students who have English as a second language will be provided standards- based language lessons focusing on the communication skills of listening, speaking, reading, writing, and understanding, incorporating a variety of techniques/strategies used in language and basic skills instruction.
