Process Looking for MUSC Excellence behavior among staff Observing employee presents PEER Postcard to performing employee Employee turns in card after milestone achieved Employee receiving PEER Postcard is responsible for safe keeping Employee rewarded at Monthly Employee Appreciation Event

6 The APPLAUSE AWARD Process Applause nominations received via web or hard copy and processed as usual RRC receives applause nominations from program manager monthly from which the Employee of the Month for each area is drawn Monthly winners are cleared through HRM for no disciplinary actions— Winners are reported to the respective Chief, Director and Supervisor RRC meets on the 1 st Wednesday to select an Employee of the Month for each area Award presented at Monthly Employee R&R Event Recipients are submitted to appear in The Catalyst weekly Certificates are sent to supervisor for presentation to employee

8 The LEADERSHIP AWARD Process Notice sent to LDI members requesting Leadership Award nominations eight weeks prior to quarterly LDI event LDI members submit nominations for previous quarter no later than 30 days prior to upcoming LDI event RRC receives all nominations by 10 th day of the month for prioritization RRC OPR coordinates Pillar purchase and engraving for presentation RRC provides candidates names and recommendations to VP & Chiefs for selection VP & Chiefs Present Leadership Award at the LDI event

9 F&A Leadership Award Nomination Form Service Provide an example of how the candidate has served the MUSC community and promoted the principle of MUSC Excellence service. People Give an example of how this person demonstrated a commitment to people and or employees of MUSC. Quality Tell the committee about the impact that the candidate had on Leadership Development, co-workers, and staff related to MUSC Excellence. Finance Describe the candidate actions that showed knowledge, skill, and ability in promoting financial stability. Explain exactly what the candidate did. Growth Describe a specific action the candidate took or has taken in the last quarter that demonstrate a commitment to service, people, Quality, finance. And growth.
