3. Aztec Food  The Aztec’s food was a rich combination of many foods. They ate wild sage, seeds, snakes, algae, cactus fruit...etc.  One of the greatest gifts to the world from Aztec civilization is chocolate. The cocoa bean was highly treasured in the Aztec empire.  Maize(also called corn or mealies) was the staple grain in the Aztec empire.

4. FASHION  Aztec clothing was generally loose fitting and did not completely cover the body.  Warriors are called jaguar knights. They wore jaguar hats and skins.  The Aztecs used the fibers of the maguey cactus to weave cloth for everyday clothes.  They used bugs and plants to create dye. The Aztecs used embroidery to decorate special occasion clothes.

5. GEOGRAPHY Aztec empire is located in present day Mexico. Aztec empire’s capital, Tenochtitlan, is now present day Mexico City.
