2  The Association for the Advancement of Higher Education and Development (AHEAD) has been the local partner for IFP in Uganda since 2004  AHEAD works primarily in the fields of higher education and leadership development in East Africa

3  126 Ugandans have been awarded fellowships to pursue Masters and PhDs in various fields  Gender: 51% women and 49% men  Degree program: Masters 84% and PhDs 16%

9  Expanded access to higher education for marginalized populations  Pool of socially committed leaders who are championing positive change in their respective spheres of influence
