Literacy development is a shared responsibility.  School authorities, school leadership staff, teachers of all grades and subject areas, parents, communities, and students must all work together. Alberta Education will work with partners and stakeholders to ensure that students develop the literacy skills and strategies they need to succeed in lifelong learning, employment, and citizenship.
