 EURES core business: matching JV in Europe  Spain assumes its role as a “Sending country”  Shortages in the nordic labour markets  Opportunities of recruiting in Spain A new approach: Bridges of Permanent Collaboration

Bridges of permanent cooperation First succesful project with Germany since 2.010: 7 different projects with more than 67 companies involved. Engineering professionals from differens specialties: mechanics, aeronautics, electricity, etc. PRINCIPLES: Stable teams Quality before quantity Permanent contact/collaboration

Bridge for nordic countries Seven spanish EURES advisors from different regions Permanent contact with nordic PES, receiving and sending information about vacancies and jobseekers Special difusion of Job vacancies when requested Taking advantage of the participation of EURES open recruitment events Possibility for “taylor made” recruitment projects

Bridge for nordic countries: Norway How to start if you want to promote your Vacancies? First step “at home” Contact EURES-Norway/NAV Provide profiles and working conditions Information about the requirements of the job The more information you can provide the better we can do our work

Bridges of permanent cooperation Now the ball is in our court…how we work in Spain? Promotion: EURES-Spain website EURES-Spain network: 57 EURES advisors in all the territory Careers Centres Universities are our partners Professional associations (Engineers, IT specialist, nurses) Sample in PES databases Facebook /newsletters

Promotion: national PES website

Promotion:multiplicator effect

Applying directly to the company or pre- scanning in Spain A new application: Specific database for big recruitment projects (sepe/convocatoriaseures) In case of recruitment events Meeting rooms and support Help to media coverage Contact with candidates, Etc.

A recruitment event: Prestik Bilbao, 5-6 Nov, 2.012 “Prestik 2012”, bianual university jobsfarir. Why it can be a chance for norwegian engineering companies The city of Bilbao and the Basque country, one of the most poignant areas Institutions-facilitators Participation of important companies The role of EURES

Muchas gracias a todos!! takk til alle Rafael Pérez García eures-valladolid.perez@sepe.es eures.nordicos@sepe.es +34 983 320435
