Saint Joseph’s VTC KHARTOUM  850 students: mostly from the refugee camps around the capital & from a juvenile prison in the area  60 staff  8 different trades (masonry, auto-mechanics, carpentry, general mechanics, electricity, printing, welding, plumbing)  The VTC was established in the 1940s and was taken over by the Don Bosco Society in 1985 1. Saint Joseph Social Works KALAKALA GUBBA  Main site & 9 outstations located in a radius of 40 km  5 primary schools with a total of 2000 students  Various social and development activities reaching yearly to 30.000 people (youth programs, trauma counseling, medical labs and dispensaries, women promotion programs) 2.
