Objectives of the game. Each basket is worth 2 points. (3 point line)
5 players on the court for each team. The team that scores the most baskets wins!

Offense Positions: 2 guards and 2 forwards and a center.
Guards: Are usually small. Point guard (PG) and shooting guard (SG) Forwards: Are usually big. Small Forward(SF) and power forward(PF) Center: Is always the biggest man you have. (C)

Defense Two types of Defenses in basketball:
Man vs. Make - Each player picks a man and plays him only. Zone Defense - Each player plays a zone ( 2-3), (2-1-2), (1-3-1). Half-court Press - Half court defense. Full-court Press – Full court defense. When two guys guard the guy with the ball it is called a Trap
