1. LENTEN SOUP SUPPERS: You are invited to our Lenten Soup Suppers every Wednesday, through March 25, 6:00- 7:00 pm. We gather to enjoy a time of fellowship over delicious homemade soups and desserts, followed by a brief time of worship and an inspirational reflection from Pastor Jeff. To contribute food or volunteer, please complete the insert and dropping it in the offering plate. Thank you! You are invited to journey through the last week of Jesus' life through the a series of powerful dramas featuring the testimonies of those who knew and loved him. Each Wednesday, following the soup supper, we will spend about half-an-hour worshipping God and experiencing these moving messages. It's a great way to draw closer to Jesus as we move toward the celebration of Easter. 2. MINISTRY OPPORTUNITY: Many of our homebound members look forward each week to when they receive a copy of the bulletin and a recording of the Sunday sermon in the mail. Would you consider helping with our recording ministry? Anyone who can operate a DVD player can handle the technical requirements. If you’d be willing to give one or two Sundays a month to sit in the balcony and record the sermons, please speak to Pastor Jeff or Karl, or simply make a note on your Connection Card. Once again we will be building houses for the poor of Tijuana and running a Vacation Bible School for the children of the neighborhood. If you would like to be part of this trip, there are information sheets available in the narthex. In addition to fundraising, the cost of the trip is a $100 deposit plus you’ll need to purchase a round trip plane ticket to San Diego. The next Men’s retreat at Sandy Cove will be October 16th - 18th. Get ready for an exciting fall weekend at Sandy Cove with guest speaker Gordon MacDonald! Gordon will be guiding us through a study on how to live resiliently in 2015 and beyond.
