7 MRP Forecast – Gross Requirements The MRP Gross Requirements – this is the forecast or un- netted demand created by MRP after MRP explosion 7

9 MRP Forecast – Gross Requirements Advantages – Supplier has visibility to the forecast for planning their raw materials – Easier to share the forecast with the supplier than using spreadsheets, email, etc. – Suppliers are looking at the same data – the same version – If multi-sourced, suppliers will see their % as defined in Admin  Item  Supplier Allocation Percentage – Gross Requirements can be sent for all 3 part types: Forecast, Kanban, or Virtual 9

14 MRP Firm Orders MRP Firm Orders are orders created in the ERP that get published in Ultriva - the order gets released to the supplier. ⁻MRP creating orders automatically ⁻Buyers placing orders in MRP 14

15 MRP Firm Orders Advantages – Buyers use the ERP as the workbench and the firm orders are sent to Ultriva – Supplier doesn’t have to use another system for MRP items. Supplier and Buyer can see all parts and orders in one system – Standardized labels and receiving process, material handling process 15

16 SBR – MRP Firm Orders Continued MRP Firm Orders Criteria – Parts have to be forecast – Sent to Ultriva via Integration Data Load – Plant Admin can upload text file – Batch Job Status for verifying – Integration  Batch Job Satus  MRP Released Orders 16

17 Firm Orders - Configuration Configuration Requirements 17 On=Moves card/order to On Hand then will destroy at consumption Off=Card/Order will destroy on receipt Off=Purchase Order Line Qty sent will be on one card On=Purchase Order Line Qty is split into container size/lot size

19 January Webinar Planned Orders – Using Ultriva as a workbench and determine whether or not to release orders to the supplier MRP Recommendations – ERP is sending Expedite, Defer or Cancel for orders placed via Planned Orders or Firm Orders 19

20 SBR – MRP Planned Orders Planned Orders are MRP suggested orders for buyers to review and place the orders in Ultriva. – Buyers use Ultriva as a work bench – Order has to be released in Ultriva by the buyer – Easier to use Ultriva than going through printed papers and manually entering orders in the ERP – No more green bar reports (if you are using them. ) – Supplier and Buyer can see all parts and orders in one system – Parts have to be forecast category in Ultriva – Sent to Ultriva via integration or data load – Batch Job Status for verifying - Forecast – Plant Admin can upload text file - Forecast Load (Admin  Tools  Data Load) – Exception code would be Created for Create orders in Admin  Entities  Exception Code – If PO Release integration is used from Ultriva  ERP the order will be sent to the ERP after the buyer releases the order in Ultriva – An unreleased Planned Order remains until the next file comes through 20

21 SBR – MRP Recommendations The MRP Recommendations are sent to Ultriva for Expediting, Deferring or Cancelling of Orders that have been placed via Planned Orders or Firm Orders – Used when orders need to be rescheduled (expedited or deferred) or cancelled – Buyer reviews and determines whether to take action on the reschedule or cancel – Parts have to be Forecast – Sent to Ultriva via integration or data load – Batch Job Status for verifying - Forecast – Or Plant Admin can upload text file - Forecast Load (Admin  Tools  Data Load) – ExceptionCodes sent for Defer, Expedite, or Cancel Order are be defined in Ultriva under Admin  Entities – If the buyer approves the recommendation and you have PO Change or PO Cancel/Recall integration from Ultriva  ERP, this will create an integration record – If no action is taken, the orders remains until the next file comes through 21

22 Gross Requirements, Planned Orders, MRP Recommendations if all are used, have to be sent in the same file because previous batch sent gets deleted/expired. 22
