Each system custom configured for individual buildings and present water heating conditions. Where possible, Passive (non- electromechanical) systems are used to reduce future maintenance to an extreme minimum. Buildings with over-sized existing tanks utilize Active systems to capitalize on existing equipment. ProgressivTube™ Passive Solar Integrated Collector Storage

Due to shading issues which prevent usage of Solar, a Heat Pump Water Heater is recommended. The HPWH is located above and connected to the existing water heater in each building and uses heat from the surrounding air to heat the water for approximately 2.5 times less than electricity. A by-product is ½ ton of free cooling which can be directed to indoor space or just exhausted to the outside. (HPWH)

To dramatically reduce waste water and the associated hot water loss resulting from the wait time for hot water to be delivered to a fixture, a Metlund Rapid Hot Water Delivery system is recommended for each water heater that has a distance of 15ft or more to the furthest fixture. Optional Motion Sensors eliminate the need for pushing a button, and activates delivery pump when someone enters room. This will also provide near instant hot water for each occupant, nearly eliminating the wait time for hot water when first using the fixture after an extended period of time. The system utilizes doorbell style push button and plaque “Press for Hot Water”.

Main Pools – 86F Temperature; combined 1300 sq ft Solar pool heater consisting of 30 – 4’x12’ Vortex Solar Collectors, mounted in the area behind the Oasis; fully automatic operation with digital temperature control, motorized valve and booster pump; ground mounted on a pressure treated wood frame; existing Heat Pump remains to act as backup heat source Options: Upgrade to galvanized steel sub-frame with aluminum frame Upgrade to elevate above (galvanized steel sub-frame with aluminum frame) 8 feet above ground level to provide a pavilion area Upgrade to add ground cover treatment under rack, and/or complete decorative color coating on framing: pricing

Main Hot Tub – 105F Temperature Hot Tub heating with Solar Thermal Collectors requires an engineering design; this can be done on a pre-paid retainer which will apply towards system purchase or at no charge as other elements of the project move forward under contract.

Casa Grande Pool – 86F Temperature Solar pool heater consisting of 6 – 4’x12’ Vortex Solar Collectors, mounted on the flat roof; fully automatic operation with digital temperature control and motorized valve; existing Heat Pump remains to act as backup heat source. El Dorado Pool – 86F Temperature Solar pool heater consisting of 8 – 4’x12’ Vortex Solar Collectors, mounted on the sloped shingle roof; fully automatic operation with digital temperature control and motorized valve; existing Heat Pump remains to act as backup heat source
