3 Acapulco Reputation for the “rich and famous” because of the glitz, glamour and luxury. Beautiful white sandy beaches. Millions of tourist visit this hotspot each year.

4 Copper Canyon Begin your adventure on 408 miles of railroad track aboard the Chihuahua del Pacifico train, known as The El Chepe. This magnificent Mexican scenery is four times bigger than the Colorado Canyon, and is one of the most spectacular journeys in the world. With breathtaking landscapes of the sierra Tarahumara, the area encircles the most representative characteristics of the Tarahumara culture, history and folklore: the Barrancas del Cobre, known worldwide as Copper Canyon.

5 Cozumel The name is derived from the Mayan word, “Kuzamil.” It is the largest island in the Mexican Caribbean. Known as the capital of skin diving, one may enjoy colorful sunsets of unmatched beauty, walk in deserted beaches in the moonlight, swim in its crystal blue waters or find a hideout or sunken cargo ship from pirates.

6 Cancun Top vacation destination in the world, with year-round warm sun. Excellent shopping, dining and accommodations. Great Mesoamerican Reef is the second largest coral reef in the world and is 450 miles.

7 Guadalajara Founded by the Spanish in 1542, Guadalajara is rich in culture and history. Home to numerous colonial buildings, museums, parks, theaters, churches, and the birthplace of mariachi music and tequila. Attractions include Mercado Libertad, the largest indoor market in Latin America, and the magnificent Teatro Degollado, which opened in 1866.

8 Ixtapa Offers both the high-rise luxury and seaside village charm.
Recognized as one of the most important fishing ports in the world. There are world-class fishing tournaments such as, the Zihuatanejo Annual International Sailfish Tournament, due to the abundance of species.

9 Los Cabos Half a dozen championship golf courses.
The famous rock arch formation “El Arco” unites the Pacific Ocean and the warm waters of the Sea of Cortes (also called the Gulf of California).

10 Manzanillo The boardwalk with many shops, the Obregon Garden and the Monumento al Pez Vela (Sailfish Monument), a spectacular work of art created by sculptor Sebastian, are a few attractions. Sandy white beaches, lush vegetation, azure and calm waters for great fishing.

11 Mazatlan Nicknamed the “Pearl of the Pacific”, and is the closet Mexican all inclusive resort area to the United States. A week long festival in February held yearly called the Carnival de Mazatlan. A tradition for over 100 years.

12 Mexico City Known as the Federal District or the seat of the government. It is the capital and center of commerce, finance, and arts in Mexico and was built upon the ruins of the Tenochtitlan, the ancient Aztec Empire. One of the oldest and largest cities in the world, with a population over 20 million. About one-fifth of the entire Mexican population works, lives and plays here.

13 Monterrey Third largest city and center of industry in Mexico. Known as the Sultan of the North, and surrounded by spectacular views of the Sierra Madre Mountains. Modern and upscale shopping stores and malls, colonial and contemporary architecture.

14 Oaxaca Magnificent and unique, the temple of Santo Domingo de Guzmán rises above the center of the city carrying on its ancient walls a long history. It took fifty years of construction to build this temple that was blessed in 1608 without being finished. Rich in culture, artisans and cuisine are some of the best in the region.

15 Puerto Vallarta Surrounded by the waters of the Banderas Bay and embraced by the mountains of the Sierra Madre, this is a top favorite sunny spot for travelers. Deep-sea fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, whale watching, and breathtaking views of water falls.

16 Veracruz Many monuments that show the rich culture and heritage in Mexico. People’s enthusiasm towards life reflects through couples dancing in the street, abundant music and joyful street activity.
