4. Study Permit Renewal  Fill the “Study Permit Renewal Letter Request” (Yellow form) at no charge.  Submit to your International advisor or at the Enrolment and Registrar’s Office.  Letter ready in 15 days. If your study permit is expiring earlier, talk to John or Caitlin ASAP.  Need to be currently registered or have deposit paid for a future term.

5. Study Permit Renewal Process 1) M ake an appointment with an International Educational Advisor to show your completed paper application or online application. 2) Use Xpresspost service at Canada Post. Print the online tracking as your confirmation. 3) Always make photocopies for your record.

6. Study Permit Renewal The Fee is Cdn $125. Pay options are: 1) Online payment with a credit card. 1) Online payment with a credit card.OR 2) Pay at most banks with original receipt.

7. Study Permit Renewal When should I apply to extend my study permit? Normally 4 months in advance of expiry but these days, the waiting is so long, apply EARLY! Can I study while waiting for the new study permit? Yes! You’ll need copies of the payment receipt and Xpresspost/online receipt to show Kwantlen.

8. Study Permit Renewal How long can I ask for my study permit to be extended? The Advisor will consider 1)Your GPA for your successful graduation. 2)Number of courses required to complete. Very Important: Show your updated/new study permit to your International Advisor or Kwantlen’s Student Enrolment Services front counter. *
