3.  Introduction LED.  SOLID STATE LED Lighting starts with a tiny chip comprising layers of semi- conducting material. 7. A 12 volts battery is used for the Home Lighting System. Battery is charged though a Solar PV Module, and usually charged in a sunny day. 3 to 4 LED bulbs were used in each house. The battery used is maintenance free.
