7. Refined sugar : 43,042 MT Ethanol: 6,953 M3 Electricity: 5 MW 5,000 hectares with mechanized farming and irrigation system. The plantation is divide into 5 farms with the size of 1,000 hectares each head by a Farm Manager. The average yield per hectare is estimate to 80 MT. The plantation include also a nursery for rapid sugarcane propagation and a research unit to improve the cultivation technic.

8. Adalidda Bio-Energy Corporation is a joint-venture between an international investor and Smart International Consulting. The sugar refinery and bio-ethanol plant investment project in Cambodia is motivated by:  The high demand on the international market for refined sugar and bio-ethanol.  The high demand for electricity in Cambodia.  The expertise of Smart International Consulting on the sugarcane supply chain. The project enjoys strong support of the local government because of the impact on local employment, the strategic fit with the agricultural sector development policy and the reduction of dependence on imported sugar. The project will benefit from 8 years Income Tax Exoneration. The total investment amount to 80 million USD (18 million USD for land acquisition and 62 million USD for infrastructure, construction of the plants, operations and general expenses).

11. The sugarcane plant contain the following unit:  2,000 TCD SUGARMILL UNIT  30,000 LCD HYDRATED ETHANOL UNIT  Residues recycling System  Waste water recycling system into Biogas The sugarcane plant will use German technology and will be ISO certified.

12. The sugarcane plantation cover 5,000 hectares. The sugarcane plantation will be fully mechanized for the planting and harvesting operations. An pivot irrigation system will also be developed in the plantation in order to provide water all year long. Pivot irrigation

13. Cambodia exports agro-commodity duty free to the European Union. In 2012, Cambodia exports 15.5 million KG of sugar to the European Union worth about 13 million USD. Moreover, the world demand for refined sugar is very high and this strong demand offered an excellent opportunity for this venture. In the last 10 years, the annual GDP of Cambodia is between 6.5 and 7.5 % per year. Due to the economic growth, the demand for electricity is on the raise and the Government encourages private firms to produce electricity to be sell to the State Electricity Company.

14. The project start-up will be ensured by a team of highly skilled Cambodian & Expat engineers and technicians under a 1 to 2 years operation and training contract with the equipment producer. The project management is led by Stefan Van Damme, a Belgian Agronomist, and specialist in Sugar and Bio-Ethanol Production. Smart International Consulting will provide expertise in international trading and sugar cane supply chain. Smart International Consulting will also take in charge the application for the Foreign Direct Investment License with the Council for the Development of Cambodia (CDC). This license will granted free import tax and free corporate tax for a period up to 9 years.

15. This investment will improve life of 20,000 families (= 100,000 persons) living in the district.  Average annual income per family increase from 500 USD to 1,500 USD  Received free training on the modern agronomy technology  Ability to sell their sugarcane production to our plant with better price compare to the prices offered by local traders  Access to clean water and cheap electricity Moreover, for people living in the district, we will dedicated 1% of our annual profit (about 400,000 USD) to finance the following activities:  Irrigation System  Basic health care  Free Internet for children and school in the district  Sport field for children
