1 Economic Impact Report

2 Martin County Interagency Coalition Mission: Promote health and human services by providing a common meeting ground for members to network and share resources. Vision: We envision a collaborative group of members working together to coordinate services and advocate for community needs.

3 Project Objective To demonstrate the economic impact of nonprofit agencies in Martin County. Use this report as a benefit of membership in MCIAC. Encourage more organizations to join MCIAC.

4 Why Do This Report? Myth: Agencies often viewed as a drain. Agencies make too many requests for sponsorships, auction items, donations. Agencies spend too much on fund-raising. Reality: Agencies are an asset. Agencies get resources from a wide array of sources and spend the money wisely. Agencies pump money into the local economy and help people who struggle to help themselves.
