2. Putting it all together…. You’ve heard of Black Friday, right?.....Now were are going to have White Monday! The opposite of Black Friday….On Black Friday there are great deals….not on White Monday! Everything is ridiculously expensive! Make a flier: (however you make a digital poster) Include items of clothing, their colors(use this and these in place of un, el...etc…), and their crazy prices! Write out the prices in word form… Example: Estas camisas negras solo….trescientos dólares! Insert a pic of the shirt.

3. ¿Recuerdas? o-ue stem changing verbs dormir poder duermo dormimos puedopodemos duermes xxxpuedesxxx duerme duermenpuede pueden Regular present tense endings + o-ue in the BOOT!

4. Same thing….different letters There are 3 types of stem changing verbs o-ue, e-ie, e-i You’ve seen o-ue...now...

5. e - ie Same rules apply! Regular -ar, -er, -ir endings BUT The e in the stem changes to and ie in the BOOT/STEM!

6. Preferir, pensar, querer preferir Prefiero preferimos prefieres xxx Prefiere prefieren querer Quiero queremos quieres xxx Quiere quieren pensar Pienso pensamos piensas xxx Piensa piensan

7. Examples : I prefer the blue skirt. Yo prefiero la falda azul. Juanita thinks it is purple Juanita piensa que es morada. We want to buy that black shirt. Queremos comprar esa camisa negra.

8. Stem Change Idol Check out the example videos. With your group, create a short quick video that teaches and practices the e-ie stem changing verbs. Use the verbs preferir, pensar, querer (the ones from this chapter). We will watch these tomorrow...before our quiz

9. I want...I think/plan...I prefer Find a page that has a variety of clothing pictured. Screen a screenshot of that page. command+shift+4 (It will now be on your desktop.) Place that picture into a ppt or keynote. Insert a text box that includes: I prefer…. I want…. I plan…. Complete the sentences based on your preferences from the page.
