You use demonstrative adjectives to point out nouns: This cap These socks That shirt Those shoes *Remember: Demonstrative adjectives must agree in gender and number with the nouns they modify.* Masculine Feminine el la los las Singular Plural

3 Demonstrative Adjectives
“This” and “These” refer to things that are close or near to you, or “aqui.” Ex: Esta camisa aquí es muy bonita. This shirt here is pretty. “That” and “Those” refer to things that are farther away from you, or “allí.” Ex: Esos zapatos allí cuestan $50 dólares. Those shoes there cost $50.
