5. Module Descriptions DAQ Module Conditions input signals (both Digital and Analog). Converts Analog signals to Digital using a D/A converter. Interfaces with PC104 module. PC104 Module Controls DAQ daughter card. Runs Fedora Linux. Interface with DAQ module unknown. Power Module Takes 12V – 35V unregulated battery voltage and provides regulated (5V?) output. All Modules are in PC104 form factor

6. Concerns Project will share PC104 board with P07302 (Motor Control team) when integrated into our platform. Use of PC104 board resources needs to be carefully orchestrated between the two teams. Current design calls for 3 daughter boards and 1 PC104 board – design may be outside of our size constraints. Power module may be redundant. A universal power module to power all onboard electronics should be looked into. Team seemed questionable when asked if they will meet their design goals.
