4. Standards Risk assessment needed, covering:  Handling of cryogens  Filling of cryogens into containers  Transportation – esp. in vehicles and where lifts and staircases are involved  Storage and use in confined spaces and other areas with little or no ventilation

5. Risk Controls  Oxygen monitor, set at 19.5% / 22%  Sufficiently large room  Adequate ventilation  Rescue and first aid provision  Presence of at least two people

6. Risk Controls  Regular checks to ensure container venting mechanisms work effectively  Never travelling in lifts with cryogens  Suitable equipment  PPE  Training – inc. manual handling
