3. 5.FILE SHARE The purpose of this is to enable the users to share files and documents; such that both or all the parties can upload &download files. To Upload, drag and drop the file into this frame. 1. CAMERA & VOICES This feature allow the parties to use portable camera and voice fertilities while exchanging information over the network. To use this feature, double click on the icons. 2. ATTENDEE LIST This part of the window displays either the real/nick names of all parties taking part in the virtual- conference. Click on the arrow on the right-top-corner to either clear or change your status. 6. NOTE The note section is similar to the white board. It allows the user to keep note of key points talked about in the chat. Information stored on this platform can be retrieved at next log-on. 7. CHAT The chat section is one of the most essential features of connectpro.puv.fi. The essence of this is to allow the users to synchronously exchange of info over the local/internetwork 3. WHITEBOARD Serves similar to the conventional chalkboard. It allows the user to temporally keep note of key points highlighted in the chat discursion. Click inside this frame to leave a reminder. 4. MENU BAR To switch between a normal/full screen or to modify your audio/video settings, follow the step-by-step instructions under the menu bar on the top-left corner. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 3/ 10 Note: The feature available to user depends on the rights given by the teacher/host. However, the chat feature will always be available for all users

4. When you login to ConnectPro for the first time, a dialog box similar to this one presented on the left corner will be automatically displayed. Click on Install, to proceed. Notice: - Meeting add updates quite often, so when this notice shows, you should always accept the installation. - Without this voice and camera may not function properly!! In case a dialog box similar to this is displayed. Click on Yes to authenticate the connection. 4/ 10

5. Select Microphone. Normally there is only 1- 2 options. Select the type of model which is now in use. Click on next to continue. You can click on Finish to complete the basic audio setup. Advance setting often requires a broader knowledge of the entire process. Please contact the Helpdesk for more info. Test Microphone. To start testing click on record and talk to the microphone. Stop and listen to the recording (press Play). If you don’t hear your voice, check your computer operating system (e.g. Windows) Sound Setups. Click next. The part illustrated in green shows the level of sound signals detected. Click on test to verity if your speakers are proper condition. Click next to continue Click on next to start test. 6. 2. Hands-free. Voice is in use all the time. Host will give instruction about speakers usage, normally students use “Hold to talk”-button. Hold To Talk. Press this when you speak. The Stop button- discontinues the use of cameral and voice system The Pause button- Mutes the camera display. To start camera and voice press start my Camera and Voice -icon. Approve: press Allow. If you click deny camera and voice won’t work. Notice! Host (teacher) must give the rights before camera and voice can be used. 6/ 10 3 1 2

7. Your own user name shows as italic Icon view tells user type (rights.) Normally link will open a new window underlying ConnectPro. You can open it by clicking on the desktop lower beam Click My Status to use these functions. 7/ 10

8. Compose you message in this box where the arrow points and click on the icon on the right to send the message to the chat room. Click this to the send message. Messages displayed in black fonts are visible to all the user. Private messages are shown in red. To make your message private select the other user’s name.
