3 Today’s Activity Handout We will be modeling how to use PHONECASTING and WORDPRESS in answering: “If Lin were a part of a bicycle, what part would she be and why?”

4 WordPress.com Set up and activate a class account Go to WordPress “My dashboard” Select widgets under “Appearances” Drag RSS widget into your blog sidebar to activate the widget Copy-Paste RSS feed link from PhoneCasting to your widget Your PhoneCasting recording (from the cell phone) will be linked as an RSS feed

5 PhoneCasting.com Set up a class account Create a channel for students to call in; this will be where they record their interview Copy-Paste RSS feed link from PhoneCasting to your WordPress blog RSS Widget

6 But first! A demonstration… Mike and Meaghan will give two reasons why David Yost is cool and will practice how you record to PhoneCasting and WordPress
