3 Target for Commonwealth Purchases 3 per cent of new Commonwealth contracts each year will be awarded to Indigenous enterprises from 2019-20. Interim targets: 0.5 per cent for 2015-16 1.5 per cent for 2016-17 2.0 per cent for 2017-18 2.5 per cent for 2018-19

4 Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet All remote procurements. All other new domestic procurements between $80,000 to $200,000 (GST inclusive). Commonwealth buyers will check the Supply Nation Business Direct Register. Mandatory Set-aside Mandatory Set-aside – what contracts does it apply to?

5 Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet Minimum Requirements Minimum Requirements: application New contracts valued above $7.5 million in: 1. Building, construction and maintenance services 2. Transportation, storage and mail services 3. Education and training services 4. Industrial cleaning services 5. Farming and fishing and forestry and wildlife contracting services 6. Editorial and design and graphic and fine art services 7. Travel and food and lodging and entertainment services 8. Politics and civic affairs services

6 Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet Either: Contract- based –4 per cent Indigenous employment and/or supplier Organisation-based –3 per cent Indigenous employment and/or supplier use. Minimum Requirements Minimum Requirements – what are they?
