4. About me! This is my sixth year at THMS Algebra is my favorite subject
I have lived in Tucson my whole life and graduated from Palo Verde High School (don’t hold it against me)

This semester I am taking 2 classes at the U of A. So I will be unavailable on Thursday after school.

9. Classwork/Participation
It is essential that every student does the classwork. This is our time to figure out the math.
Very collaborative environment

10. Homework Homework is practice and is assessed weekly
Weekly Homework Quiz (as homework grade)

11. Tests/Quizzes 4 major common tests in the semester
They are worth usually100 points
Quizzes will occur throughout the year at varying times
They can be worth as little as just a check mark or as much as 50 points
Tests and Quizzes will be 70% of your grade

4 major tests in the semester

Retakes
One test per quarter- can earn up to 80%

13. Final Exam We will take a common final and common tests
This means that every other Algebra student is taking the same type of test.
This will include multiple choice and free response questions
