Home page The course home page contains: –Links to Assignments, Quizzes, Surveys, Discussions, Chats –Calendar and Upcoming events –Resources –News (you can subscribe to RSS feed or email alerts) –Content Browser

Content Browser The Content browser is the central pane on your myCourses course page In the Content browser select: –Fundamentals of Medicine and Dentistry – Year 1 –Select module (Block A, Clinical Method I, Research Fundamentals, LFME, etc.)

Block content Each Block has a table of contents page with general information, learning resources, weekly schedules and links to the lecture and lab recordings Lecture materials are linked from the weekly schedules Lecture materials consist of PPTs, html pages A PDF binder of all available course material is prepared each Friday for the subsequent week

Copyright and Social Media All course material on myCourses is copyright protected Redistribution of the material is prohibited Posting of any course material on social media is prohibited This includes lecture recordings

Lecture recordings McGill Lecture Recording System (part of McGill IT) provides streaming and downloadable versions of lecture recordings Lectures are posted 24 - 48 hours after completion of the lecture Formats –Streaming – Silverlight –Downloadable -.wmv,.mp3 and.mp4 Contact McGill IT for support In the weekly schedules, a shaded lecture slot means that it is not recorded
