6 Discussion Questions How do a person’s values affect the way they handle money? Your values influence your behavior. How a person handles money is 80% behavior and 20% head knowledge.

10 Discussion Questions In a marriage, who is supposed to do the financial decision making? Both people in the relationship. In a marriage, besides telling your money what to do, what else does having a budget accomplish? A budget will ensure that both people are agreeing on what they want their money to do. Are you a natural saver or spender? Explain your answer.

14 Discussion Questions What are some important guidelines to remember when communicating with others about money? Listen, pick the right time and place to start a conversation, be honest, seek counsel, and communicate your money goals. Why is it important to communicate with other household members about money? Winning with money takes teamwork. Helps maintain accountability as you work toward your financial goals. The financial plan should be agreed upon by all involved.
